Biography

Jody Dublin uses strengths-based approaches to help students and alums find what is right for them, be it a course of study, graduate program, or internship. She has several years’ experience working in higher education and has enjoyed helping students and alumni achieve their academic and professional goals.

Jody earned her bachelor of arts in Latin American & Caribbean Studies and American & Florida Studies from Florida State University. She then went on to New York University to earn a master’s in Counseling for Mental Health & Wellness. Finally, she earned her doctor of education degree in Higher & Postsecondary Education Administration; her research focussed on how people choose to attend college. As such, Jody is very passionate about college access and success for all populations of students.

Dr. Dublin has also worked in a variety of settings in higher education, beginning as an undergraduate Resident Assistant and moving on to Greek life, grant management, and career services in institutions in California, Florida, and New York. She has spent the majority of her career advising students, both as a pre-law and academic advisor. Jody brings her expertise in law school application advising, personal statement writing, and pre-law preparation to her work in the College.

In her spare time, Jody loves to learn, work out at the gym, and make clothing and accessories.
