Biography

As a Study Abroad Advisor, Ai Chang Guo facilitates broad and inclusive student participation in education abroad within the context of Brown’s Open Curriculum. Ai joined Brown from the University of Rhode Island where she was the Program Coordinator of the Chinese Language Flagship Program. During her time at the Flagship Program, Ai played a crucial role in developing and implementing the study abroad timelines and guidelines for students in the program. She managed the day-to-day operations of the program and worked closely with students, faculty, and staff to ensure a smooth study abroad experience.

Ai holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese and Fashion Merchandising, and an M.Ed. degree from the University of Rhode Island. As an undergraduate student, she studied abroad at Nanjing University and completed an internship in Shanghai, China. During her time abroad, she gained a deep appreciation for the transformative power of international experiences and developed a passion for helping students navigate their study abroad journeys and achieve their academic and personal goals.
