Anastasia Dementieva
Biography
Anastasia Dementieva joined Brown University as the International Student Program Manager in Fall 2024. She earned her a B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs from Northeastern University and holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Bocconi University in Italy. She is fluent in Italian, English, and Russian.
Anastasia’s diverse work experience includes roles in media, management consulting for the international public sector, and, most recently, the World Health Organization (WHO). At WHO, she worked with governments across Europe and Central Asia to advance health and well-being among more vulnerable communities. As part of this, she advocated for greater social and economic inclusion of young people so that everyone has an opportunity to thrive. Now at Brown, she is set to bring her rich international background and experience to promote a supportive and nurturing environment for students from all around the world.
