Associate Dean of the College for the Academic Code
Areas of Expertise Academic Code

As Associate Dean for the Academic Code, Love works in close partnership with the faculty serving on the Standing Committee for the Academic Code. Love works to promote academic honesty and uphold the integrity of a Brown undergraduate degree, while serving as an academic advisor and resource for undergraduate students at Brown. In addition to providing academic advising and fulfilling decanal responsibilities, Love works collaboratively with other College and campus colleagues and student groups to identify ways to promote academic integrity, with a particular lens on identifying and supporting student populations who may disproportionately appear before an academic code hearing panel for an alleged violation.

Prior to her position in the College, Love served as an Assistant Dean of Student Conduct & Community Standards at Brown. Love has developed strong relationships with many students, faculty, and staff on campus. They have also worked very closely with colleagues across campus to bring their passion for restorative practices to the Brown community. Love is an avid reader, usually averaging over 100 books per year, and was a casino table games dealer in a previous life. Love earned her B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from Villanova University.
