Meals With Your Advisees

Sitting down to a meal is a powerful way to cement social and academic bonds with your advisees. The College has set aside funds for just this purpose.

Meal Guidelines

Exploratory advisors can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner with their first-year advisees once per academic year at one of Brown’s dining locations.

The College will sponsor one meal swipe for all first-year Exploratory Advisors. Advisors who are interested in participating in this opportunity are asked to  fill out the Meals with Advisees Request Form and to submit it by the Friday preceding the week of your intended event.

If you would prefer to meet with your advisees outside of the Meals with Your Advisees program, we encourage you to consider treating them to coffee or tea.
